DAY 01: HA NOI ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR (D)
Upon arrival in Ha Noi, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport and then transferred to the hotel for refreshment. A half day city tour: visit Temple of Literature, Sword Lake with Ngoc Son Temple and The Huc Bridge, then ride a cyclo (rickshaw) to visit the Old Quarter (36 ancient wards & streets). Dinner. Overnight in Ha Noi.
DAY 02: HA NOI – HA LONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON BOAT (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Ha Long Bay and check-in on board. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery.
19:30: Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board.
21:00: Enjoy squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partners, friends, family.
Overnight on board.
DAY 03: HA LONG BAY – HA NOI (B, BRUNCH, D)
07:00: A light breakfast with tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served.
08:00: Visit Luon cave on a small bamboo boat paddled by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Get back to the junk, sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet and Bai Tho (Poem) mountain. Enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Pack your luggage and check out of cruise at around 09:00: Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations.
11:45: Arrive back in Ha Long city for disembarkation where your driver is waiting to take you back to Ha Noi, Stopover at Minh Anh Center for shopping. Enjoy a performance of the spectacular Water Puppet. Dinner at restaurant.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
DAY 04: HA NOI – DONG HOI – PHONG NHA CAVE - HUE (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival in Dong Hoi, pick up & transfer to Phong Nha Cave. Take a boat cruising on Son River to visit Phong Nha Grottoes: Bi Ki Cave, Fairy Grotto, and Royal Grotto with many colorful stalagmites and stalactites in every size reflecting the light. Have lunch and drive to Hue. Stopover to visit Phuoc Tich ancient ceramics village. Arrive in Hue. Dinner.
Overnight in Hue.
DAY 05: HUE CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
Take a boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda & Mausoleum of King Ming Mang. After getting back to the boat station, take a short excursion to visit the Imperial Citadel including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City. Have lunch. Continue to visit Mausoleum of King Khai Dinh & Dong Ba Market.
DAY 06: HUE – DA NANG - HOI AN (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Da Nang, passing by Lang Co Beach and stop on the top of Hai Van Pass for magnificent views. Visit Champa Museum. The next stop is at Marble Mountains where “Viet Cong” hid during the Viet Nam War with American, and the natural caves of Buddhist sanctuaries. We will not actually climb the mountain to see these caves, but see traditional stone-carving workshops located at the foot of the Marble Mountains. Have lunch in Hoi An ancient town. Enjoy walking tour in Hoi An center: visit ancient houses, local market, traditional handicraft workshops, Chinese community’s assembly halls and Japanese Bridge Pagoda. Dinner.
Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 07: HOI AN - MY SON – DA NANG - DEPARTURE (B, L) (65 KM)
After breakfast, depart for the Cham ruins of My Son. Set in a beautiful green valley My Son - the former religious center of Champa’s Kingdom is well-known as a UNESCO World heritage. Drive to Da Nang. Lunch. Transfer to the airport for departure flight to next destination.
